Kalkaska High School is a public high school located in Kalkaska, Michigan. It is one of three high schools in Kalkaska County; the others are Forest Area High School and North Side Alternative. Kalkaska High School is part of Kalkaska Public Schools, which, in turn, is part of the larger Traverse Bay Area Intermediate School District (TBAISD). The high school offers classes for students in grades 9–12 and services about 450 students each year. The majority of students are white and about half of the student body qualifies for the free or reduced lunch program. The student-to-teacher ratio in the classroom is about 24:1. AP and honors courses are offered in the core subject areas (science, history, math, and language arts) with numerous opportunities for extra-curricular activities. ==See also==
